De Profundis is a hand-picked vocal ensemble that performs continental Renaissance sacred music at the original low pitch, using the all-adult-male forces appropriate to the period.

Concert in September
On 27th September we’ll be performing a concert of Flemish music for Christmas, conducted by Stephen Rice, director of the Brabant Ensemble. The main work is Clemens non Papa’s Missa Pastores quidnam vidistis but there will also be festive motets by Gombert, Josquin, Brumel, and de Monte.

Next Release in the Morales Series
At the end of August Hyperion will release Morales Project Volume 2 – the famous 5-voice Requiem & Officium defunctorum. It’s been a while since the Missa Mille regretz album came out, and so we’re thrilled that Volume 2 is finally here!
